Dr. Schwartz graduated from Bucknell University, where she studied Neuroscience and Spanish. She received her doctorate in optometry from NECO in where she achieved clinical honors and was awarded for her excellence in vision therapy and pediatrics. While in optometry school, Dr. Schwartz was the President of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development(COVD) NECO Chapter, Fundraising Executive for Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity, and Teaching Assistant for the Binocular and Accommodative Anomalies course.
Upon graduation, Dr. Schwartz continued her education by completing a residency at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, specializing in Vision Therapy, Pediatrics, and Rehabilitation. Since completing her residency, she has accomplished her Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and her Fellowship in the COVD. Dr. Schwartz has presented her work nationally and plans to continue to develop professionally through clinical research and education.She is a member of COVD, AAO, Optometric Extension Program Foundation, and the American Optometric Association.
